Migration Pathways Background
Nicola Baker is the face behind Migration Pathways.
She has been in the field of Migration since 2000 and has been a Registered Migration Agent since 2002.
Since establishing her own business, Migration Pathways, in May 2006, she has focused on servicing clientele in Cairns and the Atherton Tablelands. Since then she has built up a loyal client base, who have recognised her complete dedication and commitment to customer service.
"The best part of my job is telling my clients that their visa applications have been successful".
Nicola has extensive experience with Regional Migration
programs, and also has knowledge of other migration programs.
In addition, Nicola has worked with a large cross section of the business community from Hospitality and Tourism, to agriculture, building, construction and mining sectors, private businesses and many other industries, from all areas of Australia, both in Far North Queensland, regional Australia and in the major metropolitan areas.
Nicola is a member of the Migration Institute of Australia and is registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority. Locally, in Far North Queensland, she has enjoyed good relationships with the various Chambers of Commerce and business networks.
She was a willing participant in the Miss Australia Awards in her youth and has continued to be involved in fundraising activities for causes that are close to her heart, including Relay for Life, Genes 4 Jeans Day and Starlight Foundation.
In addition, Nicola was one of the key members behind the "Tsunami Walk", which raised over $18,000 for the Red Cross. In 2003 Nicola was nominated for the Corporate Award with the Cairns Business Womens Club.
Since establishing her own business, Nicola has also volunteered as a member of the executive with local community groups, including the Ravenshoe and District Chamber of Commerce, and has been an active member of the Torimba Festival.
Hands on Contact
Nicola's vision for the future, of Migration Pathways, is hands on contact with her clients - she thrives on being involved in the community. If you instruct Migration Pathways to prepare your visa application, you know that your application will be prepared by one person, you will be able to speak to that person and your file will not be passed around to junior members of staff.
